About Officers Network & Initiative Development

Strengthening institutional coordination and supporting the development of new collaborative initiatives across the HUC network.
Engagement Working Group

The Officers Network brings together the institutional representatives appointed by each HUC member university. Officers play a key role in connecting the Consortium’s governance, working groups, initiatives, and institutional teams.

Through regular coordination meetings, the Officers Network supports identifying opportunities for collaboration, developing new initiatives, and forming working teams across members' universities.

This space helps ensure that HUC initiatives are aligned with institutional priorities, effectively coordinated, and supported by the appropriate representatives within each university.

Objectives

  • Strengthen coordination among HUC member universities.
  • Support the development of new initiatives within the Consortium.
  • Facilitate communication between the Secretariat, working groups, and institutional teams.
  • Identify opportunities for collaboration across universities.
  • Promote institutional engagement across the HUC network.

How it works?

HUC Officers meet regularly to review ongoing initiatives, share institutional updates, identify opportunities for collaboration, and coordinate next steps across the Consortium.
During these meetings, Officers contribute to developing new proposals, help connect the right teams within their universities, and support the implementation and dissemination of HUC activities.
The Officers Network also works closely with the HUC Secretariat and communication teams to ensure that initiatives are coordinated, visible, and aligned with the Consortium’s strategic priorities.
