INFORMATION RESILIENCE: THE ROLE OF THE LIBRARIAN IN CRISIS SITUATIONS
OBJECTIVE
Develop library support strategies for students in situations of academic and library anxiety.
DESCRIPTION
The librarian plays a more important role than one might normally think. Users of an academic library are human beings who feel the effects of everyday life, which can affect their academic and scientific performance. For this reason, it is necessary to reflect and propose various intervention strategies, without forgetting the scope of the librarian’s sphere of influence, which allows students to be supported in crisis situations that may lead to episodes of anxiety.
