The industrial software is used for simulation and design of integrated circuits (chips). We have designed SRAM memories with different technologies, circuits for “energy haversting” and a very simple microprocessor (VSM or Very Simple Microprocessor). For these designs we have used educational libraries and Tunnel-FETs models that are an emerging technology. We are currently working on a design of OTA amplifiers and VSM implementation in 180nm TSMC technology that is craftable. One of the medium-term goals is being able to design a chip and manufacture it. USFQ would be a pioneer in the field.
