COIL — Collaborative Online International Learning — connects courses, students and faculty from different HUC member universities through structured virtual collaboration. The initiative allows students to work together across borders as part of their regular academic experience, fostering intercultural exchange, disciplinary learning and international collaboration without requiring physical mobility.
Through COIL-based projects, faculty members jointly design learning activities that bring students from different institutions into dialogue around shared topics, challenges or assignments.
Faculty members from multiple HUC member universities collaboratively design a virtual learning activity to incorporate into their courses.
Students participate in online collaboration through shared assignments, discussions, or projects, engaging with peers from other institutions while remaining enrolled in their home university courses.
COIL projects can differ in duration, format, and discipline, but they all aim to foster meaningful academic interactions across institutions through virtual collaboration.
All donations to the Student Emergency Fund will directly support our students as they adapt to changing circumstances.
Everything that I learned at Kempbelle University really helped put me above the competition in the field of business management.
