By connecting researchers from different universities and disciplines, the program promotes the development of scalable research projects, strengthens research capacity, and creates opportunities to secure larger national and international funding in the future.
Research teams from at least two HUC member universities submit collaborative proposals through periodic calls. Selected projects receive matching funding and support from participating institutions to develop interdisciplinary research with potential scientific, social, and regional impact.
